Asphalt Surfacing Health & Safety

In surfacing, it is essential that we remain fully aware of and have an in-depth understanding of health and safety in everything we do. We have achieved CHAS “ELITE” accreditation, the highest level of accreditation offered by the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). It is also known as the Common Assessment Standard and demonstrates Asphalt Surfacing’s commitment to health and safety excellence by going above and beyond standard requirements. The accreditation requires a thorough audit across 13 key areas of risk management, including health and safety, ethics, and finances, providing clients with confidence in a contractor's competence. These accreditations demonstrate our commitment to robust processes, continual improvement, and responsible operational standards.

Our strategy is driven by our Operations teams, ensuring we take all necessary steps to maintain a safe working environment while also incorporating ongoing developments in related areas such as sustainability and environmental performance.

Builders Profile

Asphalt Surfacing Is A Certified Member Of Builders ProfileAsphalt Surfacing is a member of Builders Profile, which is a requirement of one of our Tier 1 clients, Morgan Sindall.

A Builder’s Profile is an industry-recognised platform that allows construction companies to present their credentials, compliance information, and prequalification data in a clear and standardised format. The system streamlines the pre-qualification (PQQ) process by enabling subcontractors and suppliers to complete a single comprehensive profile that can be shared with multiple main contractors.
