Project Details:

The Ysgol Y Deri project in Penarth, Cardiff, is a major education development being delivered for Morgan Sindall. The project involves the construction of a new comprehensive school, with extensive external surfacing works forming an important part of the overall development.

Our works cover approximately 8,000 square metres and include the surfacing of access roads, car parks, playgrounds and pedestrian footpaths throughout the school site. A combination of high-quality coloured asphalt and resin bound surfacing products is being used to provide durable, attractive and practical finishes across the various areas of the development.

The surfacing has been designed to create safe and accessible routes for pupils, staff and visitors, while providing robust surfaces capable of withstanding the demands of a busy school environment. The use of coloured asphalt and resin bound products also provides a visually appealing finish, helping to complement the wider design of the new school.

The project is currently ongoing, with surfacing works progressing as construction of the new school development continues.
